Usage information

The Usage information gives an overview of the costs of searches and viewed articles.

If you want to book your usage data on different budget or clearing items, you can define cost centers to log your activities on them. Cost centers are activated in the Settings.

To access the usage information, click the symbol at the top right edge of the screen. From the sub menu, choose Usage information.

User-specific settings

Displaying inactive users By activating or deactivating the Display inactive checkbox you determine whether or not you want to include inactive users in the list.
Selecting all user names

If you are authorized to do so, you can display the usage information of all users by activating the Select all user names checkbox.

Alternatively, you can select one or more user names.
Time period
from – to Define the beginning and the end of the usage information by choosing relative values in the from and to dropdown lists.
Date fields In the date fields you can enter absolute values.
Calendar The third option to define the beginning and the end of the usage information is a calendar where you can select the desired dates.

Output

Usage data per user name

If you are authorized to do so, you can display the usage information per user by activating the Usage data per user name checkbox.

If the checkbox is deactivated, the evaluation is done for all users collectively.

Cost center

From the Cost center dropdown list, choose the type of usage data you want to display:
All searches

The usage information is displayed for all cost centers that have been defined as well as for those activities that have been executed without any cost center.

No cost center The usage information is only carried out for activities that have been executed without any cost center.
personal cost center The usage information is only carried out for activities that have been executed with a personal cost center.

Buttons

Back Click back to return to the view that has been active before you accessed the usage information.
Search Click search to display the usage information based on your settings.
